Terms & Conditions
These terms
These terms apply whenever you accept a quote from UPKEEP for property care, exterior cleaning, maintenance, roofing, repairs, landscaping, clearance, or coordinated specialist trade work, whether as a one-off job or an ongoing UPKEEP Care plan.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are tailored to your property and the work described or shown to us, and are given in good faith based on the information and photos provided. A quote may change if the actual condition of the property differs materially from what was described once we're on site — we'll always confirm any change with you before proceeding. Quotes are valid for [X days] unless stated otherwise.
Booking and scheduling
Once you accept a quote, we'll agree a date for the work. Please flag any access requirements, parking restrictions, pets, or site hazards when you enquire, so we can plan accordingly. We'll give reasonable notice if a booking needs to be rescheduled, and ask the same of you.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least [X hours/days'] notice where possible. If you are a consumer booking work to be carried out at your home, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of placing certain off-premises orders under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — we'll confirm how this applies to your specific booking at the time.
Payment
Payment terms (including any deposit, staged payments, or payment on completion) will be confirmed on your quote. [Accepted payment methods to be confirmed.]
Specialist trades
Where a job requires expertise beyond UPKEEP's core services — electrical, plumbing, gas, or similar — that work is coordinated by UPKEEP but carried out by an independent, vetted specialist subcontractor, not a direct UPKEEP employee. See our Specialist Network page.
UPKEEP Care plans
UPKEEP Care is a recurring service booked at an agreed frequency. Plan terms, including notice period to pause or cancel a recurring plan, will be set out when you sign up.
Insurance and liability
[UPKEEP's public liability insurance details to be confirmed and added here before launch.] We take reasonable care to protect your property while working, and will discuss directly with you how to handle any accidental damage should it occur.
Complaints
If you're not happy with any work carried out, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put it right. [Complaints contact and process to be confirmed.]
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Last updated: drafted 2026 — pending final business details and legal review ahead of launch.
